In the mid-90s, as owner Dave Grant pursued his Sociology degree at UConn, the desire to learn about people fueled his studies. He learned about the behaviors, tendencies, and ethics, demonstrated by groups of people. Dave gained a lot of insight about the way groups of people interacted and how their decision-making was affected.
Upon graduating from UConn, Dave Grant took interest in computer repair and networking. His technical aptitude allowed him to learn quickly and become proficient at it. After earning his A+ and Network + Certification, he found work as a computer technician. Shortly after beginning work as a technician, around the time of the “dot-com bubble”, he started designing. With the Internet craze looming, Dave earned his Webmaster certificate and began to professionally design websites. Then something clicked.
With an understanding of people and their social tendencies, a knack for design, and a confidence in this thing called ‘Internet’, he began CT Web Factory in 1999. Ever since the connection was made, CT Web Factory, LLC, has had a belief that a professional web presence is vital to the success of a business. It affects how your customers buy and why they would chose your company over a competitor.
